What To Expect At The Movement Renaissance
Hello Everyone,
Right now cost of shirts has come out to $40 per shirt. Not your average shirt of course, I tried to get the something light that feels good on the skin and has print on both sides. If any of you want more printed I can make that happen just let me know.
Here’s my Venmo @Francesco-Caban so you can send the reimbursement for the T-shirt or you can Pay Pal me at MovementConnections@gmail.com
Thank you for taking the time to come play and be a part of an experience with me. I have listed below where we will meet at, what to bring with you and some basic information about the day.
Parking is tricky at ASU this weekend. I highly recommend not parking to close to mill avenue as Oktoberfest will be going on at Tempe Beach Park.
Date and Time:
Sat October 8th 10am-3pm
Where to meet:
On Old Main Lawn at 10am.
Water Fountain on North Side
Back up meeting spot will be here if there is some type of construction or unknown event happening
MU Water fountain north side

What to Bring:
Refillable Water Bottle
Electrolyte mixtures (we will be sweating a lot)
Hat to keep the sun out of your face
Sun Block if you need it
Be prepared with barefoot/minimal shoes and high impact shoes
Athletic Tape, Instant Ice Pack and Small Wound Band Aids in case of rips or small cuts and bruises
Snacks for yourself and maybe to share with others if you like
What to expect:
-We will do a group warm up before we start
-Be prepared to walk from spot to spot and possibly run a couple of times
-We will be doing movement games that have you interact with others if you are concerned about contact with others than we will respect that, but it means some of the activities may require you to only watch. Some of these games may be Capoeira, Contact improvisation and Basic Sparing based on the way the group dynamic is
-We will be visiting different training spots from my time at ASU, no one is expected to try out any of the challenges that I experienced, they are merely my experience that I want to share, there will be plenty of ways to enjoy the spots.
-If we are asked to move on from any spot by a facilities management or campus police we will do so without any back talk and show respect for their position.
-With the exception of a couple of quick stops we are going to try and stay off of rooftops. We are a bigger group so we will stand out more and need to be aware of that.
-We will have about 2 hours of movement and then lunch and then 2 more hours. If you have specific dietary needs please plan ahead so you can get nourishment. Below is the small strip mall with a couple of options where we will try to stay around as a group. We may decide as a group to just wait until the end of the event to eat.
